“Experience Design” - visitor’s experience from the moment they enter the conference until they leave it is our credo. Light, stage, interior design and decoration play a vital role in participant immersion and storytelling. Dramaturgy of staged productions such as interactive games and dance performances also attributes to successful experience design.

Starting with its predecessor “Startup Week” in 2011, Media Apparat accompanies Pioneers annually. Thereby, we have had a chance to design the complete event from the very beginning. All in all, the annual event’s motto is implemented in all elements of the conference and staged with the help of the newest technologies.

Conference newly defined
Always going new ways
A conference in a “festival style” - it was a worldwide innovation, especially in the beginning - it was spiked with the newest technologies. The concept was yearly further developed and adjusted. This has led us to plan new spectacular stages and produce new shows.
We brought a variety of robot characters on stage - worked with drones, produced shows with tracking suits and engaged ourselves with artificial intelligence. Our tasks ranged from the world premiere of the first flying car, through 360° live streams, to virtual reality shows. The innovative nature of the event contributed to the its popularity far beyond boarders - as a highlight, Media Apparat together with Pioneers 2017 won BEA Award for the best conference as well as Global Event Award in Silver - two of the biggest international awards among event productions.
Content Partnership
Along with concept and content creation for the festival, Media Apparat produced numerous TV-Spots, Aftermovies and Interview formats for the owned & operated channels of Pioneers.
